Nutrition tracking, quietly
A nutrition tracker for people playing a long game. Log your food by talking to Claude or ChatGPT, then see your whole picture in one calm place.

You already talk to Claude or ChatGPT every day. So log your food there. Type "two eggs, a slice of sourdough and a flat white" and it lands in Slowloss, with calories and protein worked out for you. No forms. No barcode scanning. No hunting through a database.
You say it. It appears.
Link Slowloss to Claude or ChatGPT in a couple of taps.
Tell your assistant what you ate, whenever you eat it. It does the maths.
Open Slowloss to see today, yesterday, or the last two weeks at a glance.
An AI assistant is brilliant at logging, but it forgets. Slowloss remembers. Every meal you log builds a history you can actually look at: today's running totals, yesterday, last week. And because your own meals are saved, logging a repeat is a couple of taps, not a re-typed sentence. Your history becomes your food database, and it's more accurate than any generic one because you built it.
Prefer to type it in yourself? Manual entry works fully too. Slowloss doesn't depend on anything you don't want to use.

Balancing food and weight has been a challenge for me for a long time. At the start of this year I worked out that simply tracking what I eat keeps me honest. If I know I have a thousand calories left for the day, I think twice about the croissant.
I tried plenty of tracking apps. None of them stuck. They were another thing to open, bloated with features I would never use, always nudging me towards a subscription. The habit wore off every time.
Then I started logging food by just telling Claude what I had eaten. "Three eggs, a handful of spinach, a slice of protein bread." It worked out the numbers instantly, and if I had a salad from Pret it would find the real figures. It was the fastest food logging I had ever used. But it had one gap: it could not easily show me what I had eaten over the last week.
That gap became Slowloss. Now everything I tell Claude lands somewhere I can actually look at. I open it around four in the afternoon, see I have 617 calories and 42 grams of protein left, and that decides dinner. The rest of the time it stays out of the way.
Life used to be simple, so our apps could be complicated. Life is complicated now. Our apps should be simple.
Slowloss is free to use right now. Some deeper features may become part of a paid plan later, but the core, logging your food and seeing your history, will always be free. No paywall in front of the thing that makes it useful. No feature you have to scroll past every day.
